Soup can be prepared using any vegetable or few greens.
Example:
Vegetables: Ash Gourd, Snake Gourd, Chayote (Chuw Chuw), etc..
Greens: Paalak or Tropical Amaranth (Sirukeerai in Tamil)

Ingredients:
- Vegetable / greens - 1 cup
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 spoon
- Ginger - small piece
- Fresh Coconut milk - 1 cup
- Pepper powder - 1/4 or 1/2 spoon (according to the taste)
- Salt - 1 pinch (according to the taste)
- Wash the vegetable / greens thoroughly and cut into big pieces.
- Take a pan and add a small quantity of water to boil the vegetable / greens.
- Add the Cumin seeds and ginger in the pan. Once it is slightly cooked (3 to 5 minutes will be good enough), trun-off the stove.
- When it becomes cool, use mixer grinder and make paste.
- Transfer the paste to the same pan and add required water to get soup consistency.
- Heat it up for few minutes and turn-off the stove.
- Add salt and Pepper powder according to your taste.
- Finally add the Coconut milk and mix well.
- Keep the Coconut milk ready before boiling the vegetables.
